If you are a potential graduate or law school student, skip to the graduate and law students section of this webpage to learn more about your expected costs.

Details on cost estimate

This page will have periods of availability, and the calculator’s estimate is not an actual financial aid award or net price. It is a projection based on the previous year’s cost of attendance and financial aid.

The total cost of attendance and availability of financial aid are subject to change yearly and are not binding to Chapman University, the State of California, or the U.S. Department of Education.

We use your application materials to evaluate you for nearly all merit, department, and mission-driven awards. You will not need to submit any supplemental application materials.

To receive need-based aid, students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), including Federal grants, loans, or work-study assistance.

You can learn more about how we aim to make a Chapman education affordable for all qualified students on our Financing Your Education page.

Cost of attendance graduate and law students

The cost of attendance for graduate and law students depends on the program you are enrolled in, credit load and other considerations, such as food and housing.

You can find details on the expected costs by visiting the Current Tuition and Fees page and locating your specific program of study.
